Wisconsin Right to Life Applauds Confirmation of Judge Michael Brennan for 7th Circuit Court of Appeals

“Wisconsin Right to Life applauds the confirmation of Judge Michael Brennan for the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals,” stated Heather Weininger, Executive Director of Wisconsin Right to Life. “Michael Brennan is a distinguished attorney, a respected judge, and a dedicated public servant. His broad legal background and commitment to the law will serve him well in his role as a federal judge.” 

Judge Michael Brennan was nominated by President Trump to fill the vacancy on the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals. Yesterday, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm his nomination. Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson voted in favor of the confirmation, while Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin voted against the confirmation. The 7th Circuit takes on many important cases from Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin, including cases that deal with issues such as abortion.  

“After such a long vacancy for this seat on the 7th Circuit Court, we are very glad to see Judge Brennan’s nomination confirmed,” continued Weininger, “We look forward to his service, and thank Senator Ron Johnson for voting in favor of his confirmation.”
