Texas House Passes Late-Term Abortion Ban, Goes to State Senate

Remember pro-abortion Wendy Davis’ filibuster at the Texas statehouse on legislation to ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy? And remember the mob of angry pro-abortion activists that disrupted the legislative proceedings? All that craziness may have temporarily derailed the bill but Governor Rick Perry and the Texas state legislature are determined to get this legislation enacted into law. Yesterday, the Texas State House gave final approval to the bill and the State Senate will soon be taking it up. Mega kudos to Governor Perry and the Texas legislative leadership! As they say … don’t mess with Texas!
