Wisconsin College Students for Life is the pro-life campus outreach of Wisconsin Right to Life.
Each fall, when thousands of students return to colleges and universities across our state, lives are at stake.
Did you know that one-in-five abortions are performed on college women?
At one university in the northeast, based on figures from the school’s health center and a nearby pregnancy center, of the 3,000 young women on campus, 600 had pregnancy tests.
Out of the 600 tests, 300 were positive but only 6 of these women had their babies.
What a staggering statistic!
And these numbers reflect just one college campus. Add these numbers up and apply them to the college campuses in Wisconsin and it makes you see how important our work is!
Each fall several extraordinary pro-life college
students are given grants. These are students who have started the
work of educating their fellow-students and instructors on pro-life
issues. Learn more about the grants here.
Along with the grant recipients, we have been in contact with numerous other college students who have asked for help in starting a chapter of Wisconsin College Students for Life on their campuses.
